Lovely tranquil surroundings making for a relaxing away from it all break with good views of the surrounding countryside, yet not too far to travel to local attractions in the area. Mrs W, Norwich, Norfolk 03 April 2011
Lovely accommodation, welcoming owners in a great location especially if you have children. Mr N, Chorley, Lancashire 30 March 2011
Excellent base for visiting places as you're literally on 3 borders, derbyshire, staffordshire and leicester. Fantastic array of places for children - conkers is a must. There is also a beach at bretby garden centre! Mrs S, Halstead, Essex 06 September 2010
Our cottage was extremely well equipped and the owner's attention to detail made all the difference, eg. tea bags and milk provided, a hot water bottle, a welcome box of shortbread and bottle of wine. The location was perfect for families with young children as there are plenty of places to visit without having to travel far. Mrs K, HARROW, Middlesex 21 April 2010
This cottage was lovely and would recommend it to anyone, the owners were brilliant and very welcoming and very helpful. I would love to visit again soon Miss M, LEICESTER 11 November 2009
This was our first stay in a cottage and our experience was very good. The cottage was the best, it was very clean and comfortable, the location is lovely as are the grounds. The owners were lovely and very welcoming and we would like to thank Rita and Alison very much for our lovely stay. We would recommend this cottage to anyone as its lovely. We had a very lovely and relaxing stay and we will definitely be visiting again soon hopefully. Miss M, Leicester 14 October 2009
Highly recommended - the owners were very welcoming, and the the site was extremely handy for all the local heritage sites. It was also very peaceful, and relaxing. Mr B, SHEERNESS 08 June 2009
We had a perfect holiday in this cottage. The furnishings and fittings in the house are all very new and good quality. The cottage has a very attractive setting with 360 degree views of the countryside. The owners could not have made more effort to be welcoming, especially for our young children. The cottage is situated very close to many attractions that are good for children – e.g. Drayton Manor/ThomasLand, Twycross Zoo, Snibston, Conkers, several country parks. There is a pub with very good food nearby, called the Cricketers. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.
